It has a dark blue outer case and opens up to reveal beautiful hand painted china crockery (4 cups, saucers and plates) made in Longton, Staff. It also has cutlery by Firth and Brearley, 2 flasks made by Thervac still with original labels and food storage containers made of glass and tin. It heralds from the era when going out for a drive was considered a day out with the picnic set full of goodies stored in the boot. It is in good intact condition with all original contents. Totally original, so a few small damages.
