Get out of Town Flats. Whether you Get Outta Town or stick around, this flat ($80) from Seychelles will serve you well. The open-toe style features braided detail for texture, while the footbed is lightly padded for comfort. Comes in several colors: pewter, blue, yellow, black, etc.

Rocket Dog Malta Flats. Rocket Dogs are some of my favorite shoes comfortable yet stylish. These malta ballet flats ($39) offer colorful embroidery at the toe for vintage-inspired style. Made with nice breathable fabric.

FitFlop. While not a substitute for a good leg workout, the FitFlop sandal is a good option for getting a little extra toning in as you run errands. The sandal tones your calves, thighs and glutes with a specially designed midsole that functions like a mini wobbleboard to engage your muscles as you walk. Plus, Amazon is having some mad sales on them (depending on the color/size) and some are up to 50% and only $23 dollars! So if you have been curious, now is the time to buy!

Nike Shoe Wallet. Now that warmer weather is here, putting your keys (and in my case a credit card to get a cupcake at the end of a long run) in your fleece pocket will no longer due. This shoe wallet ($9) is a great solution to keep your keys in a safe place, because holding them in your hand is no fun, will you enjoy your run.

Loop-Strap Sandals. These loop-strap sandals ($20) are just the thing for all your warm-weather ensembles and at the right price.

Chinese Laundry Lucky Strike Sandal. A fun sandal ($90) that you can dress up for spring by Chinese Laundry. Comes in cognac (here), black and natural.

Reebok Zig Pulse. I am very intrigued by these cool new running shoes from Reebok, the Zig Pulse ($99) which they describe as “an energy drink for your feet”. It is Reebok’s most technically advanced training shoe to date, and the Zig Pulse running shoes allows key leg muscles to do less by reducing muscle tear in your legs by 20%. Its patented sole technology absorbs shock then conserves and returns energy for a soft and springy run. Anybody tried these?

Zip Code Heel. With the single zipper ruffle rippling over the pointed toe and the crinkle pattern upper in a hi-fi shade of violet these are some pretty awesome heels from ModCloth ($35).

50 Shoes that Changed the World. An interesting short read ($14) of fifty iconic shoes of the last 150 years, beginning with Frye Boot in 1863 from the Design Museum. Did you know our fave 1990 shoes Dr. Martens came about from a doctor’s ankle injury? Interesting stuff.

Perfect Perforation Wedges. Love these toasty golden brown wedges ($65)! For me, a perfect transition shoe from winter to spring.
