I truly believe that you are what you eat, and it is really important to put good wholesome food in your body  A perfect book ($17) for those of you with an interest in nutrition.  Goes into details about the pros of certain foods (for example- blueberries and antioxidants) and offers healthy meal suggestions.

Galloway’s Book on Running.  After a week of being on Galloway’s marathon training method of walk/run, I am sold.  I was originally pretty skeptical that this walking early on in long runs could make you faster (I do a run 3 minutes and walk 1) but it totally works!  And my muscles don’t get tired so I can run longer.  A great book ($13) for those who are looking to start running or training for a race. (hat tip Catherine)

I was chatting with a buddy last night about adding in some more variety into my workouts and she mentioned she had been doing a ballet focused workout ($26) that has been great!  I found this cool workout DVD that uses ballet  moves/positions as the base for a hard-core stregth training work out all while increasing posture and grace.  Plus, if you ever wanted ballet lessons, here is your chance! (hat tip Julie B.)

The sandal tones your calves, thighs and glutes with a specially designed midsole that functions like a mini wobbleboard to engage your muscles as you walk.  Plus, Amazon is having some mad sales on them (depending on the color/size) and some are up to 50% and only $23 dollars! So if you have been curious, now is the time to buy!
